Muktar Edris (born 14 January 1994) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner who competes in track and cross country races.
Muktar made his first international appearances in 2011, taking seventh place in the junior race at the 2011 IAAF World Cross Country Championships (sharing the team silver medal) and finishing fourth in the 10,000 metres at the 2011 African Junior Athletics Championships with a time of 28:44.95 minutes.〔(2011 World Cross Country Junior Men's Race Results ). He began to raise his profile in 2012 with two prominent wins on the junior stage.
